About Us

Castleware is owned, sewn and operated from cutting to shipping,  by the wife and husband team of Maureen and Tom Smithey. Maureen created Castleware in 2005. The original vision was an eco-friendly and sustainable fiber line of adult bedding and infant crib sets hence the name. We listen to our customers and several lamented the fact that they could not find sleepware for their baby's that was not chemically treated. Intrigued Maureen began looking for organic cotton material that is still made in America. The whole story takes way to long to tell but since that time Castleware has morphed into a line focused solely on infants comfy knit chemical free clothing and sleepwear. (If you are looking for chemical free, organic and sustainable baby products, our line truly is.) From growing the cotton in Texas to spinning and knitting it in South Carolina to manufacturing in Eureka, California - Castleware is TRULY made in America.

Proudly serving the Earth's future, one smiling baby at a time, CastleWare.
