Very Cute and Warm, But issues when washed
Purchased two of these sleep blankets, and they are very cute, really nice weight to them/very cozy, but the inside material shed quite a bit when put in the washer (much more than I was expecting), and one of blanket's zippers fell off its track and it was next to impossible to get it back on, so taking one star off for those issues.
Hi Ellen, posting your email below your review to make things easier. Thanks for sending this update! Hi! I wanted to update my review - I mentioned that one of the sleepbags we got had a semi-faulty zipper (that the zipper fell off it's tracks), but I wanted to retract that part! I gave a sleepbag to my mother-in-law, and she mentioned that the zipper fell off -- so I put that in the review -- BUT, she brought the sleepbag to me to show, and it was actually working PERFECTLY! My mother in law didn't realize that it zipped down, not up...very silly. I don't want other people to think there is an issue with the zipper, when it's not true, but can't figure out how to edit my review -- any help with that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Ellen
Excellent and cozy!
The fleece is so soft and cozy. I am jealous of my toddler's sleep experience! Great product, great durability. Happy toddler. CastleWare never disappoints!
We love this! Great quality, pretty colors.. nice and warm but not bulky.. it lays nicely and doesn’t bunch up like some other thicker ones do…
so cute and comfortable (updated!)
We love the sleep sack and the customer service is fabulous! When I submitted a review with a small critique, Maureen replied instantly explaining why (see review below). This directly and friendly customer service, as well as the updated perspective on the design of the sleepsack made need to update my review. I definitely give this product and CastleWare five stars.
so cute and comfortable
We love this sleep sack and feel really good about purchasing it from CastleWare, which has a, personal, small company feel that I crave when getting things for my little one!! This is a personal preference but, for the bigger sleep sacks, I wish that the zipper started at the feet and zipped up to the neck. Its hard to find the zipper pull in the mornings when my little guys is standing on it and holding on to the edge of his crib!
Hi Emma, So happy to hear that you like the bag and the idea of supporting a small, personal company! I'm thrilled you found us as that's exactly what we are and I take pride in giving each customer the attention they deserve. As for the zippers on the sleeper bags....there is no way to have a separating zipper open and close at the bottom of the Sleeper Bag, like they do on a jacket, since the bag is enclosed below the end of the zipper. The only way to have a zipper pull at the top of the bag is to have a two-way zipper which I cannot source in the USA. YKK does not make 2- way zippers here, the closest is Canada and I'm trying very hard to use made in the USA materials and components. The 2nd consideration is the fact that having the zipper pull at the neckline makes it easier for kids to unzip the garment themselves which is a big problem for many parents I hear from. I'm always open to my customers input and ideas and I do read every review and email so please don't ever hesitate to give feedback as I learn so much from each and every one of you! With appreciation, Maureen
